"I started my knee Gel injections yesterday, being essentially bone on bone with arthritis in both of my knees, I struggle with pain management. I'm not sure what took me so long, but today was the first day in years that I wasn't hindered by knee pain and felt like a million bucks. "Had an appointment today and I wasn't expecting to get the injections today. But to my surprise I was able to get them. All of the staff and doctors were fantastic. From the receptionist Sandy to George the X-ray tech, to Michelle the Physicians Assistant and everyone else. All they do here are gel injections. They are the only Institute the focuses solely on injections. I would highly recommend coming here. It is a non-invasive procedure and it takes no time at all. I traveled over an hour and half to get here. It was well worth the trip."

"I called this morning for an appointment because my knee pain (both knees) was getting worse daily. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment on the same day in Northbrook. My expectation was that I would have a consultation only. I first met Sloane who was very kind and explained what to expect during the appointment. Then I saw Allegra (physician's assistant) who listened to my issues, took an xray of both knees and suggested a steroid injection (which they would be able to do today!) I asked about the cost and they came back quickly with answers. I decided on self pay and took the injections. Allegra performed ultrasound guided injections ... no pain whatsoever!! She has an excellent touch. Highly recommend this facility. The Joint Relief Institute is lucky to have these two women on their team. I'm also lucky to have them on my team! Thanks for your help!"

"I highly recommend giving these shots a try for joint relief. I didn't get relief from the first two series of shots. But they tried a third type of injection this last series and it's working beautifully. I can walk up and down stairs and get up out of a sitting position without pain. "So I go to the Northbrook facility, and have had my five weekly treatments! I couldn't be happier with how I was treated, from the friendly face at the front desk, to all the staff, in the rooms that attended to me! Almost immediately after my first visit, I started to feel, a little less pain. I have really, really bad arthritis, in both of my knees, and without a doubt, at some point in time i will have to have my knees replaced. But I do feel that these treatments will postpone, the inevitable!!! This was by far the best choice I have made in a long time on anything! If anybody has any questions, about what they are about, I seriously suggest that you give them a call!"

"2 years ago, i went to see a Dr for my knee pain he told me that i need a surgery sooner than i think , gave me pain medication and cortisone shot. I did not wanted to go back to him because he said only surgery can help. Also i did not wanted to take pain medication for the rest of my life. "Coming from Elgin to the Northbrook location is a 45 minute trip, but the drive is well worth it. Greeted each time by Sandy the Receptionist with her smile and hello, certainly is a sign of a sincere welcome. The Office Manager, Makela, also provides that warm welcoming to their Joint Relief Institute office as well. This office is exceptionally clean, orderly and friendly. The rest of the staff are all friendly and caring as well. As for the treatment shots, the staff makes them as painless as possible, which means it's less painful than a mosquito bite! (As an added note, if I had an office where I needed a Receptionist and an Office Manager, I guarantee that I would offer these two young ladies an offer that they might find hard to refuse to come to work for me.) My grade for this location and it's staff is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"

While I originally went to an orthopedic doctor for shots, the hit or miss method they used was very ineffective. Joint Relief Institute uses a live interactive xRay machine to guide the needle to the precise point and I've found this method works much better than any thing else. "I have had arthritis in my right knee for quite some time, and have had injections in the past, with a Doctor of sports medicine. I had some pain relief, however it did not last for very long. After reading some positive reviews, I decided to try Joint Relief Institute. I am having a series of 5 injection and after only 3 injections, I am feeling much better. I can lift my leg without pain and walking up stairs is easier and it should only get better with the final 2 shots. My experience at the Joint Relief Institute has been great and I would definitely recommend them."

I am a physical therapist that has had ongoing arthritic knee pain for years now and have all but exhausted cortisone injections and gel shots to prevent having a replacement. The previous gel shots I received did nothing to relieve my pain. Completing the injection cycle at Joint Relief Institute gave me more relief than I have had in over 10 years. The staff is incredible...I wish I could remember all of their names, as they are one of the most friendly, welcoming, and kind group of people I have ever encountered at a doctor’s office...or anywhere for that matter! You can tell through conversations that they all thoroughly enjoy their job, and they take the time to get to know you and talk to you at each session. Dr. A. and Mario the PA are also incredibly welcoming, empathetic, and knowledgeable. If cortisone OR gel shots without guided placement have failed you, I highly recommend the Joint Relief Institute, especially the Northbrook location!!"

"Just came from my first appointment at JRI Northbrook. Great experience. All the office staff was so very nice. Two people were incredible. Christina, the P.A., did the procedure. She explained everything in detail. I was terrified because of two botched treatments elsewhere. Christina was gentle and reassuring, and the whole procedure on two knees was done in 10 minutes.I hardly felt a thing. Then there was Michael, the technician. He was wonderful. "Northbrook Location. I waited a month after my last injection in my SHOULDER to write this review. I was skeptical. I am delighted to say that I feel very good, much better than I expected. In the previous years I had two Cortizone injections in my shoulder which helped not at all. I did not expect a better outcome, and was most pleasantly surprised. Mario, who gave me all my injections, is extremely skilled and excellent to work with. He explained all the steps in the process and what I should expect week to week very clearly. All of the staff are very courteous and friendly. The office is welcoming with delicious snacks and coffee. I almost never had to wait more than five minutes for my appointment.
