"I have been having knee pain since last two years. Also been to a doctor who asked me to do surgery but I didn’t want to. I saw knee joint institute on YouTube and decided to go. At first I was afraid and very nervous but I got my first injection last week. PA Mario was my provider. He was very kind and very patient. He explained everything in detail. After talking to him I decided to get the injection. He was so gentle and sweet I didn’t even feel any kind of pain. There was so much relief after it was as if I was missing so much. I could climb up and down the stairs, go for a walk, pray on my knees. I asked for him for the rest of my injections .I had my second injection yesterday. All the staff are very kind and very sweet. "I've been going to this facility for about a year for pain in both knees. They have helped me, but I'll admit it's not forever but I'm going back in May for another treatment. It does offer relief for a period of time, and everyone is different. Some people have longer lasting relief than others. What I'm really thankful for is Jill Ores in the Billing Dept. as BCBS has giving them and myself a bit of a run around with how they are going to pay but with some hard work and diligence, Jill has managed once again to come through with working with me and the insurance company for a compromise that we're all happy with. I hope Jill stays with this group for a long time as it's difficult to find help that goes the extra mile to help their patients resolve any billing disputes. Good work once again Jill! "I went to the Joint Relief Institute today, the environment was very welcoming and the staff was so friendly, they got me signed in and before I knew it I was sitting in the exam room meeting the Doctor and her assistant, they took x-rays and then explained to me while showing me on the x-ray what the problems were with my knees, she then went over the procedure that was right for me, it took literally 15 minutes to complete the procedure once she started and I will tell you this, it was completely painless. After I got home I went for a walk, about a half mile, I was smiling during the entire walk because it was for the first time in quite awhile pain free, well not totally pain free my face hurt from smiling so much lol. I'm so happy that I decided to go to the Joint Relief Institute, I believe my quality of life will be so much better now. If your experiencing any kind of knee pain trust me you will not be sorry go see this wonderful staff and you too will have Joint Relief."

"I’m sorry I didn’t visit the Joint Relief Institute sooner. After the first visit, I felt an improvement with my knee pain. The office personnel are friendly, helpful and courteous. Raul, a very polite technician, led me to the room where the procedure would take place. He answered my questions regarding the fluoroscopy machine and how it is used in this treatment. Dr. Julie Kafka was most patient and knowledgeable in answering my many questions. She explained the procedure as it progressed. I did not feel any discomfort only pain relief when I left the office. "I have been going to the Oak Brook office of the Joint Relief Institute for about 2 years now and cannot say enough about this therapy and all the staff. The 5 week series of injections has kept both of my Osteoarthritic knees pain free and comfortable for just about 6 months or more. All COVID-related safety precautions are taken, there us virtually no wait time in the reception area & treatment for both knees takes about 10 minutes. The receptionists, medical assistants, physician assistants & physicians, particularly Dr. Ermin Arriola, are friendly, personable, professional and very accommodating to individual needs. I may limp into the office when I begin a new series of injections, but I can leave with a pep in my step & get into my car without any discomfort! Thank you, Joint Relief Institute."

"I have exhausted all my avenues and finally surrendered to the fact I would have to have surgery due to severe knee pain. I then received a flyer in the mail for a free screening & free consultation from Joint Relief Institute which one of the locations was listed as 600 West 22nd Street in Oak Brook which was minutes from my home. With much hesitation and no hope, I had nothing to lose and made an appointment. When I called, they asked me when and what time I would like to come in, I received the exact appointment I requested, which is unheard of. I was greeted right away with a smile and a welcoming voice, I was offered some snacks and a comfortable place to sit. The office is so well organized that they do not waste the patients time at all. From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave the consistency of care was remarkable. I was continually being updated on what as going on. I met with Maria Koularmanis the Physician Assistant who looked over my x rays and explained everything in detail to me allowing for as many questions/concerns that I had. I NEVER once felt rushed and I really felt compassion from her. Maria was also the person who treated my knees and I didn’t feel a bit of pain. I then met with Dr. Rajka who I felt like we were old friends because of how comfortable she made me feel as well. Dr. Rajka also answered all my questions and again I didn’t feel rushed with her either. I also had the pleasure to briefly meet Michael Hana, M.D who ultimately is responsible for a wonderful crew! I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone I met at that office."

"When I first went to Joint Relief Institute in Orland Park, I was having a lot of pain in both knees. I had gone to an orthopedic surgeon and was scheduled for a knee replacement. I heard about JRI on WGN and decided to try one more option before undergoing surgery. I figured that I had nothing to lose except the pain of surgery and weeks or months of rehab. I limped into the office which was very clean and staffed by an exceptionally professional and friendly staff. Dr. Hana was very kind and explained the procedure. The treatment took only a few minutes and was not very painful - kind of like getting a shot. Unbelievably, I stood up after the treatment and walked out of the office pain free. I now have treatments in Oakbrook which is much closer to my home. I recently went to Universal Studios in Orlando and was able to spend five to six hours a day walking around pain free. I can't believe how this procedure has positively changed the quality of my life on a daily basis."
