"I have been having knee pain since last two years. Also been to a doctor who asked me to do surgery but I didn’t want to. I saw knee joint institute on YouTube and decided to go. At first I was afraid and very nervous but I got my first injection last week. PA Mario was my provider. He was very kind and very patient. He explained everything in detail. After talking to him I decided to get the injection. He was so gentle and sweet I didn’t even feel any kind of pain. There was so much relief after it was as if I was missing so much. Wish there had been more discussion about what to do after injections (walk for 30 minutes after) rather than just being handed written instructions. "I went to the Joint Relief Institute today, the environment was very welcoming and the staff was so friendly, they got me signed in and before I knew it I was sitting in the exam room meeting the Doctor and her assistant, they took x-rays and then explained to me while showing me on the x-ray what the problems were with my knees, she then went over the procedure that was right for me, it took literally 15 minutes to complete the procedure once she started and I will tell you this, it was completely painless. After I got home I went for a walk, about a half mile, I was smiling during the entire walk because it was for the first time in quite awhile pain free, well not totally pain free my face hurt from smiling so much lol. I'm so happy that I decided to go to the Joint Relief Institute, I believe my quality of life will be so much better now. "I came to Joint Relief Institute in an effort to avoid knee surgery after 2 surgeons told me that I have no cartilage and need knee replacement surgery. They took X-rays during my consultation, and showed me that I actually have some cartilage in my knees. I never felt pressured by anyone there, but decided to try the treatment. Later that night after the first treatment, I was able to get up off my couch easier. The next day, coworkers commented that I was walking better. This is definitely working for me. "I am a new patient to the Joint Relief Institute in Oakbrook IL. I had severe injuries to my legs while on job many years ago. Both knees where blown out and 9 compound fractures to right tibia where some of those related. Finished 30 years on the job and retried a few years ago. Left knee was replaced with titanium. Working quite well and fortunate to have such success. They Orthopedic surgeons are hesitant to attempt replacing right knee. So, a few shots over a the last few years of cortisone have helped for awhile but started having a feeling of failure or my body was getting used to them. Looking for something else to try to help the severe pain, I came upon Joint Relief Institute in Oakbrook. Made a call and appointment. The very first day was an incredible visit. First, the staff was extremely professional. They where understanding and complete spending a lot of time explaining the Joint Relief Institute goals and their methods of treatment. I was sure what I was getting involved in and the purpose of the treatments in the end. Well, (this is no kidding) I felt better after the very first shot just walking in the lot afterwords. That's no kidding! Looked forward each week for the following four shots to follow. How rare is that? My knee is far from healed and certainly doesn't visually appear like that of a male model to be sure. However, the pain is substantially less and it was covered by BCBS with no co-pay. In and out of the office at JRI in Oakbrook in no time. Absolutely fantastic staff, most important, it would be an understatement to share how effective these treatments have taken at this point. "It’s a miracle! There’s no better way to describe my experience at the Joint Relief Institute. My knees hurt so badly that I dreaded walking up and down stairs. There was pain with every step while walking. The pain would wake me up in the middle of the night. I wasn’t expecting much from the injections I received at the Joint Relief Institute. I was desperately trying to find an alternative to knee replacement surgery. I had the first injections at about 2:30 in the afternoon. I was noticing some improvement just a few hours later. When I walked upstairs to go to bed, there was very little pain. I slept through the night and had virtually no pain when I woke up in the morning. For the first three or four days I was in shock that my knees could have improved so much. Some pain came back after four days, but my knees are still so much better than before the first treatment. I’m excited and hopeful that the improvement will last a long time after all five treatments!"

"I have exhausted all my avenues and finally surrendered to the fact I would have to have surgery due to severe knee pain. I then received a flyer in the mail for a free screening & free consultation from Joint Relief Institute which one of the locations was listed as 600 West 22nd Street in Oak Brook which was minutes from my home. With much hesitation and no hope, I had nothing to lose and made an appointment. When I called, they asked me when and what time I would like to come in, I received the exact appointment I requested, which is unheard of. I was greeted right away with a smile and a welcoming voice, I was offered some snacks and a comfortable place to sit. The office is so well organized that they do not waste the patients time at all. From the time you walk in the door until the time you leave the consistency of care was remarkable. I was continually being updated on what as going on. I met with Maria Koularmanis the Physician Assistant who looked over my x rays and explained everything in detail to me allowing for as many questions/concerns that I had. I NEVER once felt rushed and I really felt compassion from her. Maria was also the person who treated my knees and I didn’t feel a bit of pain. I then met with Dr. Rajka who I felt like we were old friends because of how comfortable she made me feel as well. Dr. Rajka also answered all my questions and again I didn’t feel rushed with her either. I also had the pleasure to briefly meet Michael Hana, M.D who ultimately is responsible for a wonderful crew! I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone I met at that office."

"When I first went to Joint Relief Institute in Orland Park, I was having a lot of pain in both knees. I had gone to an orthopedic surgeon and was scheduled for a knee replacement. I heard about JRI on WGN and decided to try one more option before undergoing surgery. I figured that I had nothing to lose except the pain of surgery and weeks or months of rehab. I limped into the office which was very clean and staffed by an exceptionally professional and friendly staff. Dr. Hana was very kind and explained the procedure.
