"These people are terrific. They have succeeded every time they’ve treated me and been professional when doing so. I’ve had one hiccup there, and as you see, it didn’t affect my number of stars. But they pre-approved my insurance coverage for visits, so I came to be treated and made better. I went home and eventually received a bill for 100% of the costs!! I called and told them about it and the guy I spoke with said, “Well yeah, because the person who treated you wasn’t in your insurance”. I said, “First, it was YOU, YOU who verified my full coverage and then called me to say all was good, let’s get you scheduled.” I said, “You understand what I’m telling you, right?” I ONLY went to the appointments because you told me I was fully insured and pre-approved, that all was a go” . He said, “I understand, but then the person who actually injected you wasn’t covered.” I was about to blow my top. I resolved it with someone else. "I went to the Joint Relief Institute today, the environment was very welcoming and the staff was so friendly, they got me signed in and before I knew it I was sitting in the exam room meeting the Doctor and her assistant, they took x-rays and then explained to me while showing me on the x-ray what the problems were with my knees, she then went over the procedure that was right for me, it took literally 15 minutes to complete the procedure once she started and I will tell you this, it was completely painless. After I got home I went for a walk, about a half mile, I was smiling during the entire walk because it was for the first time in quite awhile pain free, well not totally pain free my face hurt from smiling so much lol. The 5 week series of injections has kept both of my Osteoarthritic knees pain free and comfortable for just about 6 months or more. All COVID-related safety precautions are taken, there us virtually no wait time in the reception area & treatment for both knees takes about 10 minutes. The receptionists, medical assistants, physician assistants & physicians, particularly Dr. Ermin Arriola, are friendly, personable, professional and very accommodating to individual needs. "I am a new patient to the Joint Relief Institute in Oakbrook IL. I had severe injuries to my legs while on job many years ago. Both knees where blown out and 9 compound fractures to right tibia where some of those related. Finished 30 years on the job and retried a few years ago. Left knee was replaced with titanium. Working quite well and fortunate to have such success. They Orthopedic surgeons are hesitant to attempt replacing right knee. So, a few shots over a the last few years of cortisone have helped for awhile but started having a feeling of failure or my body was getting used to them. Looking for something else to try to help the severe pain, I came upon Joint Relief Institute in Oakbrook. Made a call and appointment. The very first day was an incredible visit. First, the staff was extremely professional. They where understanding and complete spending a lot of time explaining the Joint Relief Institute goals and their methods of treatment. I was sure what I was getting involved in and the purpose of the treatments in the end. Well, (this is no kidding) I felt better after the very first shot just walking in the lot afterwords. That's no kidding! Looked forward each week for the following four shots to follow. How rare is that? My knee is far from healed and certainly doesn't visually appear like that of a male model to be sure. However, the pain is substantially less and it was covered by BCBS with no co-pay. In and out of the office at JRI in Oakbrook in no time. Absolutely fantastic staff, most important, it would be an understatement to share how effective these treatments have taken at this point. "When I first went to Joint Relief Institute in Orland Park, I was having a lot of pain in both knees. I had gone to an orthopedic surgeon and was scheduled for a knee replacement. I heard about JRI on WGN and decided to try one more option before undergoing surgery. I figured that I had nothing to lose except the pain of surgery and weeks or months of rehab. I limped into the office which was very clean and staffed by an exceptionally professional and friendly staff. Dr. Hana was very kind and explained the procedure.
