"I absolutely loved Dr. Khapekar!! He was so gentle and informative and made me feel at home. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't recommend Klem as he's not as gentle and his attitude is an in and out attitude that did not make me feel comfortable. All the technicians that worked with Dr. Khapekar were wonderful and so friendly and so are the front desk people! If you're having issues with pain in your knees I would highly recommend them as I had 40% of my meniscus removed 33 years ago and the pain became more than I could handle. I knew I was facing probable knee replacement, but I have MS and surgery would be very hard on me. I was on Facebook and their ad caught my eye and I looked them up right away and they scheduled me to be seen very quickly! I have received 5 shots and I am feeling much better!!"

"People here are wonderful. They are friendly and compassionate and do their job professionally! I was terrified at first, worried that the knee shots would hurt. They don’t!!! They prepare your knees so that when they do the actually injection, you barely feel it. AND, the shots work! My knees are not pain free, but I can walk a much longer time, and sleep on my sides with little to no pain. I’ve been going for shots for two years now and am happy with the results. Each time I go for the series of five shots, my knees get a little better. If you are thinking of doing this, do it! You may need to go for several series, but you will see an improvement!"

"Edited post...Jan 2025. My 5 Stars would go to Sara and all the staff. I'm happy with the service except for Billing dept. It's been a few yrs since I wrote my first review and I want to point out nothing has changed with the billing dept, at least nothing i notice. It really disappoints me that I as a patient have to be on top of it, otherwise it will never get done correctly. If one has to sit and enter every line pd on an insurance claim, that's pretty bad. I've said it before, maybe it's time to change your billing system and bring it more up to date. In fact, you are the only ones I know that do this kind of match up game. While I'd like to be able to give 5 stars for all, I'm not there yet. Sara and her team are wonderful. Patients BEWARE!!! I've been a patient of the Orland Park facility since 2020. While these injections do help tremendously and the staff and techs are so wonderful I am not able to give a 5 star rating at this point. The reason: they have an awful billing system and even horrible billing dept. I do not get stmts that often but when I do they are always incorrect. For the past 2 yrs I've had to literally audit my own stmts and when issues arise billing never took care of it. They rarely call back if at all and I have to pay my copays at time of visit which is fine but I get upset when the copays are never applied to my acct. When asked where these copays are going to the billing dept says it's their system posting incorrectly. A statement is only as accurate as the person posting the pymt. Moving forward, I can only hope one day I can turn this into a 5 star review. All I can say now is people keep your pymt receipts as well as any EOB's you get from your insurance and review all charges prior to making any pymts. It would be wise to contact your insurance company for your benefits for this place. Make sure this place is In-Network or you may have to pay a higher cost in the end."

"AMAZING! Orthopedic Surgeon told me after (2) Surgerys and some uninformed gel shots that there was nothing left to do but to have a knee replacement. Knee replacements are expensive, and a long recovery process that would take me away from work. Now with a kid still in college, and normal day, a monthly expense I could not take the time off feom work at this point in life. I was in pain with just normal walking, acending/climbing steps, sitting for a long period and standing etc. This was a last ditch effort to get relief. I called, and came in for a consultation and was so amazed with the knowledge, the information, and the real time visual aid of my knee that I got the 1st of 5 injections and I felt immediately pain relief. The staff was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Hopefully with each if the next 4 injections the pain relief is better each time. The only thing I would say is, hurry up and open one in NW Indiana!"

"I had my Consultation and first treatment yesterday. I have to say I wasn't expecting much, since my knees were bone on bone and stiff all the time. Truthfully I could barely walk a block without being in pain ( my knees were always on the lookout for a chair, bench anything I could sit down on). "The right knee pain was with me for more than 2 years. The arthroscopic surgery and stem cell treatment along with regular exercises on a treadmill did not help. My knee was locked and very stiff when getting out of the car after a long drive or even getting up from a chair after sitting down for only a half hour. Prior doctors from Hinsdale Orthopedics of Naperville after doing x-rays and MRI of right knee both said I would knee a full knee replacement due to osteoarthritis, thin cartilage, and kneecap out of the normal groove (internal derangement they call it). Well, I don't want to lose my kneecap! So I came here. They drained 68cc out of my knee (15 syringes!) and i was able to WALK normal again!!! YEP just drained it and gave me a shot for pain & brace to keep kneecap from shifting. The fluid had particles of ligament in it which is being tested (possible ruptured ligament) & prior MRI is also being looked at. They will call me next week with results. But I will not need total knee replacement. I was/am crying with joy right now. I can't thank you enough to the two doctors who drained it !!! It is now 1am and i am still doing ok. [Now...since this flare/tear happened, I have been cared for by Dr. Hana, and I feel comforted knowing he's there for me, and he really knows the ins and outs of what's happening w me. Gentle in his disposition and really great in his expertise.] This week, what prompted this initial post was a flare that occurred after my 4th injections on Dec 26th and drainage of my right knee. Very painful. Initially, I did feel better which makes sense. I walked around for a little bit, but a few hours after I could not bear weight on my r knee, and I was in a lot of pain. I could tell, my r knee was swollen, moving up my thigh. Of course I called the Join Relief Institute several times and left one message. I didn't think they had an after hours (on call) service. What a disappointment. If you're going to do something where patients can have any series of reactions, an after hours service, I think, would be important to have. [Updated Note: apparently they do have staff responsible to screen after hour calls, so I just happened to fall thru the cracks. The way they have since taken care of me, I increased my rating to 4 because an apology goes a long way for me, and they bent over backwards to be there for me - from Dr Hana, the office manager and every staff I've come across. I should have been seen there, yes, and not at urgent care. But people do make mistakes. I can offer grace when we've all made mistakes. Mine was not a fun one but don't let that dissuade you from going here.] I ended up at urgent care on Dec. 26th, which is urgent but not fast moving. I was there 7-1030pm. JRI did eventually call me at 1040am the next day and the doctor I spoke to showed compassion and listened to everything. And they have continued to take care of me to ensure I'm ok. That makes a difference. I went through a really bad evening, but I know that if anything like that happens again, the staff at JRI wouldn't let me be by myself. If you're looking for a great place to get your injections, I would agree this is definitely a good one. They do have an after hours service so don't let my experience necessarily taint your opinion. I prefer continuity of care and a better list of post procedure reminders that are given to you when you leave. Now, when things calm down (they're growing fast), I believe you can request one physician to stay with. At this point, Dr. Hana has personally ensured my well being, and I'm grateful for that. I've also been very impressed with Dr. Rad. I liked the rest of the physicians too but didnt get to know them long enough to give you an opinion about their skills. I think you need to get to know a few of them and decide who you click with and whose skills in handling your body gives you comfort. Hope this is taken as a fair post."
